Christmas & New Year's Announcement
Announcements > Community
Written by Jay Koh
Dear Yoga Lab Members,
With Hannukah, Christmas, and the New Year right around the corner, it’s time to take stock of things.
2020 has been a trying time for all of us. But in certain ways, 2020 has been the best of times. It is during periods of difficulty when we learn much about ourselves. What have we learned? We have learned that community is now more important than ever and so is being centered in our own personal lives. The foundation of this is composed of hope and compassion. That is why it is more important than ever that leaders in all walks of life step forward to help nurture the communities they lead.
Therefore, the Yoga Lab will be having classes both on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, which are Thursdays. There will be an extra class added on each day at 1pm for those who want to practice but have commitments in the evening, and the evening classes have been pushed up so that everyone can start their merriment earlier
The other announcement is about New Year’s Day which falls on a Friday. The Yoga Lab will be opened and running classes that day. Similar to Thanksgiving Day, all classes on January 1, 2021, will be gratitude classes (i.e. free) as a way of thanking all of you for the Yoga Lab’s success in 2021.
So, if you’re around, feel free to text us at the Yoga Lab’s number (781-291-3930) and reserve your spot for a class on New Year’s Day. Class times are posted below. It’s a great way to kick off 2021!
With much gratitude,
Jay
