Yoga Lab Thanksgiving Announcement

Dear Yoga Lab Members,

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching, and based on current predictions of Covid-19, more of you are likely staying in the area. It’s been a trying time for everyone.

As you know, I’m a big believer that actions speak louder than words. As a studio owner and instructor at the Yoga Lab, it is imperative for me to not just talk about the importance of gratitude but also to teach that gratitude is an active external process in addition to being an internal one.

It would be easy to say that the Yoga Lab is such a new studio that it needs to do everything possible to raise money to pay the bills, especially with the restrictions that Covid-19 has placed on us.

However, the real proof of gratitude is not only how one shows it during prosperous times but also during trying ones.

With this in mind, the Yoga Lab will conduct its first-ever Thanksgiving Day classes free of charge. There will also be no donations accepted. These are gratitude classes, so just bring your mats and your positive spirits. These classes are a small way of thanking you for being part of our community and helping us thrive at a time when so many businesses are in trouble.

I will ask for a little flexibility in which class you’ll be scheduled for because we do have an attendance limit per class, and my goal is to teach as many classes as is necessary to give members a chance to receive the benefits of yoga while sharing part of their Thanksgiving Day with us. Therefore, please let me know if you are interested in attending a class at the Yoga Lab on Thanksgiving Day.

Namaste,

Jay Koh
